Racial discrimination is well and alive in American mainstream politics, according to Democratic Party Political Strategist, Donna Brazile.
As guest speaker of a conference on “Race and the Race for the Presidency", Ms Brazile said racism wasn’t going to end with the election of a black President.
She made the charge at a conference recently held at George Washington University's School of Media and Public Affairs, Washington DC, co-sponsored by the Open Society Foundation under a project: "Black Achievement".
Ms Brazile admitted that the last presidential election was worse because of the Republican candidate and campaign team refusal to either disassociate or dis-endorse racial attacks on Democratic Presidential Candidate, Barack Obama.
